LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University tennis squad, prior to its final home match of the 2011 fall campaign, honored its two seniors, Sarah Lockenmeyer and Jen Tartaglia. The Lions succumbed to CACC-rival, Caldwell College, by a 7-2 score.

Lockenmeyer earned one of GCU's two points on the day as she and Maria Leal teamed up in the #1 position for an 8-2 doubles victory over Caldwell's freshman duo of Gwynne and Paige Alden (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan).

Leal also tasted victory in singles action as she put away Paige Alden (6-1, 6-0) in the #1 spot.

Georgian Court falls to 2-9 (2-4 CACC) on the year while Caldwell improves to 5-5 (2-4 CACC). The Lions travel to Goldey-Beacom College on Friday morning for an 11:00 AM road match.
