LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to visiting Philadelphia University Wednesday afternoon in CACC action at GCU's Ellen Mullane Gallagher Tennis Center.

Nicole Way earned the lone point for the Lions with a 6-0, 6-7 (4), 10-5 victory over the Lady Rams' Brittany Villa (Sr.-Logan Township, NJ) in #4 singles action. Way improved her team-leading singles record to 5-3 on the season.

GCU, losers of six straight matches, falls to 1-7 on the year (1-3 CACC). Philadelphia improves to 5-4 (3-3 CACC).

The Lions travel to the University of Sciences Thursday afternoon for another CACC contest. Start time is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
