MILLERSVILLE, PA- The Georgian Court University softball squad traveled to Millersville University Wednesday afternoon and split a pair with the host-Marauders by winning the opener, 5-4, before falling in the nightcap, 4-2.
Both squads scored a pair of runs in both the second and fifth innings. However, the decisive run came in the fourth inning for the Lions when 3B
Kelsey Cutler launched a two-out, solo homer, her team-leading third of the season.
#Brooke Hull# went the distance for the Lions (4-12) in the circle, allowing nine runs on four hits, four walks and a strikeout. She improves to 4-7 on the year.

Shannon Dukes enjoyed her finest start with GCU, allowing four runs (3 ER) on nine hits and two walks, while striking out four, in the complete-game effort. She is now 0-5 on the young season.
Tartaglia was the batting star in this contest, going 2-for-3.
Georgian Court plays its home and CACC openers this Tuesday vs. Bloomfield College. First pitch is scheduled for 3PM.
