NEW HAVEN, Conn. (August 5, 2025) - Next spring will be a busy one for Georgian Court Athletics. In addition to the standard regular season competition of our spring sports, Georgian Court will serve as the host for the 2026 CACC Outdoor Track and Field and CACC Softball Championships it was announced this week.
"Georgian Court University is proud to host the CACC Track and Field and Softball Championship once again in 2026," said GCU Director of AthleticsÂ
Dan Sempkowski. "The softball tournament and the conference track meet are always a great competition among NCAA East Region contenders, and we're looking forward to it. "We appreciate the efforts of the conference to ensure the student-athletes receive a first-class experience."
Up first will be the CACC Outdoor Track and Field Championship. That runs Friday-Saturday, May 1-2. Admission for each day of the 2026 CACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships is $10 for adults and $5 for children, students and senior citizens. TheÂ
CACC Network will provide also provide live coverage.
The following weekend are the semifinals and finals of the CACC Softball Championship May 7-9. The opening round will be played on campus sites, May 2-3.Â
This year's tournament will begin with eight teams, as determined by the regular-season standings. The CACC Championship gets underway with four best-of-three series on May 2-3 (dates subject to change), each hosted by the higher seeds. The winners of those four series will advance to GCU for the remainder of the double-elimination tournament. Admission is $10 per day for adults and $5 for children/students/senior citizens.
The CACC Network will provide live coverage of all softball games as well as coverage of the track and field championships.Â
