Lions Lead CACC In Academic Honor Roll Members

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 1, 2026) - Wednesday afternoon, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) released their Spring 2026 Academic Honor Roll. All members of a CACC-sponsored sport are eligible for the award, regardless of if they are in season or not. Repeating from the fall semester, Georgian Court led the CACC in total Academic Honor Roll members.

Among the entire CACC, 2,260 student-athletes made the Academic Honor Roll. They were led by Georgian Court who put a CACC-best 240 on the list, which represents more than 70% of eligible student-athletes. The CACC does not sponsor Acrobatics and Tumbling, and does not include them in this report.

Established in 2023-24, the CACC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieve a grade-point average of 3.00 or higher during a semester and are listed on the institution's official squad list for their sport.

The CACC Academic Honor Roll honors student-athletes on three levels of achievement. Those earning perfect 4.00 GPAs were granted the Faculty Athletics Representative Award of Distinction. The President's Level was bestowed upon those achieving GPAs of 3.50 to 3.99. Student-athletes earning GPAs of 3.00 to 3.49 for the semester were honored at the Commissioner's Level. Of this fall's 2,260 honorees, 368 earned the FAR Award of Distinction for earning a 4.0 GPA for the semester. The Lions had 45 earn the FAR Award of Distinction, 11 more than in the fall semester.

Broken down by sport, Georgian Court has the most academic honor roll members in men's basketball, men's track and field and cross country, men's soccer. They also had the most FAR awards of distinction in men's basketball, women's basketball, women's lacrosse and men's soccer.
