LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University tennis squad remains winless at the Ellen Mullane Gallagher Tennis Center this season as the Lions dropped their third straight decision at home Wednesday afternoon, 5-4, vs. visiting NYIT.
GCU falls to 1-3 on the young campaign while the Bears improve to 4-2 overall.

Marian Rosado earned singles victories for Georgian Court. Lockenmeyer, playing in the #4 slot, defeated NYIT's
Kelly Duarte (Jr. Westbury, NY), 6-1, 7-5. Way toppled
Alexis Tyson (Sr.-North Babylon, NY) (6-3, 6-1) while Rosado made quick work of
Catherine Porras (Jr.-Franklin Square, NY) (6-0, 6-0) in the #6 slot.
Way, a freshman from Jackson, NJ (Jackson Liberty), now leads the Lions with a 3-1 record in singles play.
Rosado and Way also earned GCU's lone doubles victory of the afternoon, defeating the NYIT tandem of Duarte and
Chelsey Ann Bipat (So.-Nassau, Bahamas), 8-6.
Georgian Court will now travel to Philadelphia this weekend to participate in the annual Wilson/ITA Regional Championships. Their next dual match will take place at West Chester University next Wednesday (9/21) at 3:30 PM.
