PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA- After scoring just one total goal over their previous two contests (198:29), the Georgian Court University soccer squad exploded for four tallies Wednesday evening, defeating host-Chestnut Hill College, 4-2, for a clutch CACC victory.

Amber Schlosser led the attack for GCU (2-4, 2-2 CACC) as she collected her first career multi-goal effort. The Colts Neck, NJ native gave the Lions an initial 1-0 advantage after knocking in a
Farrell Pomponio dish at 9:47.
Amanda Szewczyk, playing her trademark rapine style of soccer, put Georgian Court up, 2-0, at 44:07 when she drilled home a
Jennifer Molzon assist during a goalmouth scramble for her first score of the year. Schlosser found the back of the net again at 55:33, courtesy of
Candace Seaton, which increased the score to 3-0. She now has three goals over the past two contests.
The goal of the day came at 72:17 when Pomponio bent in a corner kick for the Lions' fourth and final score of the day and her third of the season.
Shealyn Sullivan saved four Griffins shots to earn the victory in net for GCU. Chestnut Hill falls to 3-4 (1-2 CACC) with the loss.
The Lions return to action Saturday afternoon when they host Bloomfield College at 2 PM on Investors Savings Bank Field.
