Mahwah, N.J.- The Georgian Court University women's tennis squad fell to 3-8 on the year with a 6-3 defeat at Division III Ramapo College Saturday afternoon. Tne Roadrunners improve to 11-1 with the triumph.

Kayanna Chandler and Annmarie Wodel climbed above .500 (5-4) as a tandem and secured the Lions' lone victory in doubles play with a 9-7 win over Ramapo's Micala Demchak and Sara Lupy. Chandler then proceeded to down Lupy in #2 singles action by a 6-4, 6-3 mark.

In #4 singles, Melissa Dennis improved to a team-best 7-4 after her 6-3, 6-2 win over Demchak.

The Lions conclude the fall portion of their 2013-14 schedule Thursday with a 4:00 p.m. road match at Queens College.
