Clermont, Fla.-The Georgian Court University softball squad ended Day Two at the NTC Games still in search of its first victory as the Lions were blanked by both Lewis University (Ill.) and Grand Valley State University (Mich.), 8-0 and 6-0.

Meghan Sfraga's lead-off single to left in the top of the fifth inning was the Lions' lone knock of the game as Lewis University (1-0) made quick work of GCU, 8-0, in a five-inning affair.
Kelly Bowler (So.-Lockport, Ill.) had her way with the Georgian Court lineup as the Lewis hurler permitted two walks and struck out six in the complete-game, one-hitter.
Things started inauspiciously for GCU as the Lions (0-3) yielded three first-inning tallies, including a lead-off, inside-the-park home run by CF

GAME TWO
The Lions and Grand Valley State traded zeros until the Lakers drew first blood with a run in the top of the sixth inning, courtesy of a ribbie double from DP
Katie Martin (Sr.-Ann Arbor, Mich.). Grand Valley proceeded to drop a five-spot on GCU in the top of the seventh, putting the 6-0 victory safely in the win column for the Lakers (3-1).
Sara Andrasik (Fr.-Sagamore Hills, Ohio) had her way with the Georgian Court offense, yielding no runs on four hits (0 BB) to go along with 11 strikeouts.
Kristina Morgan fell to 0-2 in the circle for the Lions, allowing six runs (6 ER) on 11 hits and two walks. She also struck out three.
The Lions (0-4) give it another go Tuesday afternoon with contests vs. Saint Leo University (Fla.) (5:00 p.m.) and Cedarville University (Ohio) (7:00 p.m.).
