Lakewood, N.J.- Georgian Court University women's tennis suffered a 9-0 defeat to visiting Concordia College Wednesday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match in the Ellen Mullane Gallagher Tennis Center.

The Lions (0-4, 0-3 CACC) remain winless on the year while the Clippers improve to 3-1 (3-1 CACC). Annmarie Wodell suffered a tough-luck defeat in #3 singles for GCU, falling 6-4, 5-7 (6-10) to Concordia's Stefanie Canals-Baker (Fr.-Pollensa, Islas Baleares, Spain).

GCU now prepares for its annual trek to Philadelphia to participate in the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships this Saturday and Sunday. Their next dual match will be played at the University of the Sciences Tuesday, September 24, at 3:00 p.m.
