Newtown, Penn.- The Georgian Court University softball squad earned its second consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) road sweep Tuesday afternoon as the Lions dismissed Holy Family University, 8-4 and 6-5. GCU, winners of five straight contests, improves to 9-1 vs. conference foes and 15-12 overall.

Alyssa Paradiso stole third base and promptly scored on a throwing error by the Holy Family catcher, followed by a run-scoring single from Molino.
Abby Merryman (5-3) won her fourth consecutive decision after permitting four runs (2 ER) on 11 hits and three walks (3 BB). Paredes dropped to 3-1 for Holy Family upon allowing four runs (4 ER) on for hits and a walk (1 K) in 2.2 innings of action.
Molino finished the contest 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and four RBI.

The Lions' bats refused to lay dormant as Georgian Court stormed back with four runs on four hits and a Holy Family miscue in the top of the fourth frame to take lead. DP
Briana Smith led the charge with a bases-loaded, bases-clearing three-run triple. GCU added two more in the fifth inning after another Smith RBI and a run-inducing error.
With Georgian Court holding a 6-3 advantage, the Tigers plated a run in the bottom of the fifth on sacrifice fly from SS
Samantha Borrelli (Sr.-West Berlin, N.J.) and another score in the seventh on a single by 2B
Danielle McDevitt (Sr.-Williamstown, N.J.), but the Lions were able to stave off a complete Holy Family comeback.
Deanna Daluise earned her team-best seventh victory (7-6), yielding five runs (4 ER) on five hits and four walks (2 K) over seven innings.
Rachael Alligood (Sr.-Levitttown, Penn.) suffered the defeat (4-2) as she permitted six runs (5 ER) on six hits and four walks (2 K) in the complete-game effort.
