Box Score Rockville Centre, N.Y.- The Georgian Court University men's lacrosse squad made its way to Long Island Wednesday evening for showdown under the lights with Molloy College. Molloy (4-3) netted six of the first half's seven scoring efforts for a 6-1 advantage heading into intermission. Georgian Court (3-8) responded with the first three goals of the third period to slice the deficit to 6-4 before Molloy exploded for five straight over the remaining minutes to secure the win.
Jake Sherman registered two of GCU's four score goals with
Tanner Lee and J
effrey Galatola picking up the others.
Austin Geissel went the distance in the Georgian Court net, collecting 11 saves in the effort.
GCU will now get an opportunity to recharge as the Lions do not return to action again until Saturday, April 8 with a 4:00 p.m. home game vs. Post University.
