Chestnut Hill Rolls Past Georgian Court, 22-4, in Men's Lacrosse Action

Box Score Lakewood, N.J.- Chestnut Hill College rolled into town Tuesday afternoon to take on Georgian Court University in what will be a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up next season. The visiting Griffins proved they will be a force to be reckoned with as CHC breezed past the host-Lions, 22-4, to improve to 6-3 on the year.

Chestnut Hill cruised to a 7-2 lead after one period of play before expanding that advantage to 13-2 heading into intermission. It was smooth-sailing to the finish line for the victors as the Griffins outscored the Lions, 9-2, in the second stanza to coast to the win.

CHC out-shot Georgian Court by a 48-28 margin, including a 30-11 surplus when it came to shots-on-goal.

Dylan Klusaritz (Jr.-Slatington, Pa.) paced the Griffins with eight goals on the day, followed by Alec Dambach (Sr.-Howell, N.J.) with five of his own. Andrew Dooley (Sr.-Monroe Township, N.J.) and Tanner Fisher (Sr.-Port Coquitlam, B.C.) drilled two apiece for CHC.

Chris Van Ooteghem collected a hat trick for the Lions with Michael Saladino providing the remaining goal for GCU.

Georgian Court (3-10) now takes a much needed Easter break as the Lions return to action on Thursday, April 20 with a home game vs. Notre Dame de Namur University. Start time is set for 3:30 p.m.
