New Haven, Conn. - Forty-nine (46) total student-athletes were named to the 2021 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's & Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team, as announced December 20 by Commissioner Dan Mara. The list includes 27 student-athletes on the women's squad and 19 on the men's team.
On the Georgian Court women's front, junior
Rachel Pausz, an accounting major, earned her third-straight selection to this elite list with a perfect 4.00 grade-point average.
As for the men's squad,
Nolan Czech returns to the team for the third time as the senior scholar compiled a 3.78 grade-point average as an education major.
Chukwuebizie Anuamadi (Sr.) earns his second selection with a 3.56 GPA in social work.
Kevin Knoetig (3.52 GPA), a senior education major, and
Kyle Spector (3.90), an undeclared sophomore, each make their All-Academic debuts.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution; and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is an NCAA Division II Conference composed of 13 institutions in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The member institutions are Bloomfield College, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican (N.Y.) College, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Jefferson, Nyack College, Post University of Waterbury, University of the Sciences, and Wilmington University.
