NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Oct. 22, 2024) - Georgian Court Cross Country student-athlete
Nolan Kus has found plenty of success in his first year with the program. Kus has led the Lions in all six races thus far this season. After yet another top-10 finish last weekend, Kus was selected as the CACC Runner of the Week.
Kus finished 10th overall among the field of 189 at the Rowan Border Battle. For the 8K course, he ran 26:21.8. Kus has steadily improved this season and is in the CACC top-five this year for the 8K distance.
In six races, Kus has finished in the top-10 four times and top-five three times. His best time this season, 26:12.3 puts him third in Lions history.
This week Kus leads the Lions to the CACC Championships. The early Sunday morning meet gets started with the men's race at 9 am followed by the women at 10 am from Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.Â
