Lakewood, N.J. - The Georgian Court University Department of Athletics is pleased to welcome
Jaclyn Davis to the staff as Senior Associate Director of Athletics /Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).

Laura Liesman, Assistant Vice President for Athletics. "Her diversity in just about every facet of a college athletics department will certainly complement our mission and values here at GCU. Also, with her extensive coaching background, Jaclyn will contribute leadership and vision that will only enhance our already-dynamic staff and provide an experience to our student-athletes that is second to none."Â Â

Davis joins the Lions after serving as Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator at Suffolk University in Boston, Mass. Jaclyn was a key facilitator at Suffolk while focusing specifically on operations, facilities management, scheduling of competition, ordering and budgeting, and oversight of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She also hired, managed, and assigned graduate fellows within the department and oversaw all female athletic programs (nine total) and 85 work-study students.
No stranger to the coaching ranks, Davis headed Suffolk's softball program from 2013-21, and departs as the winningest coach in program history. She also served as Head Volleyball Coach (interim) and Co-Head Cross Country Coach this past season.
Prior to her time at Suffolk, Davis served as Head Softball Coach & Assistant Director of Recreational Sports at Austin College (Texas) from August 2011 to August 2012. Jaclyn was also a softball assistant coach at Rutgers-Newark (2009-11) and Suffolk (2007-09).
A former Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference scholar-athlete, the former softball team captain received her undergraduate degree from Post University ('07), earning the University's Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors as a senior. She went on to achieve her Master of Education at Boston University.
