New Orleans- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its All-Region honorees for the 2022 NCAA Division II women's outdoor track & field season. The Georgian Court University squad was well-represented as the Lions had four different student-athletes receiving accolades.
Ginalee Erskine (Sr.-Hammer/Javelin), the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Year, makes her second-straight appearance on the All-Region squad while teammates
Shanae Rayside (Sr.-Triple Jump) and
Aniyah Russell (Sr.-Long Jump) also return to this elite list.
Newcomer
Julia Kirschnick (Fr.-Pole Vault) closes out a sensational maiden collegiate campaign with her first career All-Region outdoor honor.
The 2022 season concluded with Georgian Court capturing its unprecedented eighth-straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) banner back on May 11 with 160 total points.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions' top-3 relay teams.
