NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 12, 2025) - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) continued with their 2025 spring academic award releases Thursday afternoon. Today, the league announced the All-Academic Team for the sport of Track and Field.
In order for student-athletes to be eligible, they must have completed a minimum of two semesters at their current institution with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.50* following the preceding term. They must also be a second-year student-athlete and have used a season of NCAA competition during the current season.
Georgian Court totaled 12 Track and Field student-athletes on the All-Academic Team, with six each coming from the men and the women.
For the men, only one is a repeat on the team, the other five are all first-timers.
Sophomores
Ivan Ramos-Lopez and
Nick Jordan each have a 3.93 GPA. Ramos-Lopez is studying Business Administration and Jordan Marketing. Ramos-Lopez was also the CACC Top-17 award winner at the CACC Outdoor Championship meet.
Joe Jamolawicz is the lone repeat award winner on the men's side. The junior has a 3.70 GPA in Business Administration.
Sophomores
Joshua Tipaldo,
Ryan Pettrow and
Malicah Etienne all earned a spot on the team. Tipaldo has a 3.68 GPA in Exercise Science. Pettrow is also studying Exercise Science with a 3.54 GPA. Etienne sports a 3.54 GPA as well in Criminal Justice.
Half of the Lion women make their second All-Academic Team and half make their first. Juniors on the track
Molly Burns,
Samantha Lonseth and
Brenna Sullivan also earned this honor last year. Burns has a 3.80 GPA in Accounting. Lonseth and Sullivan each have 4.0 GPAs. Lonseth in Psychology and Sullivan in Interdisciplinary Studies.
The first-timers include
Sabrina Halk,
Ava Reardon and
Chiamaka Wokocha. Halk is a sophomore thrower but senior student and has a 3.98 GPA in Graphic Design. Reardon and Wokocha are both sophomores. Reardon has a 3.95 GPA in Exercise Science and Wokocha a 3.59 GPA in Biology.
* The preceding academic term when grades were submitted was the Fall, 2024 semester. Grades from the Spring, 2025 semester were not included in the All-Academic team calculation.
