Emily Miglin Newest Member of Georgian Court University Athletic Training Staff

Lakewood, N.J. - The Georgian Court University Department of Athletics welcomes Emily Miglin, ATC, to its athletic training staff as Certified Athletic Trainer.

"As a former student-athlete who has worked through injuries, it became a goal of mine to succeed as a healthcare professional, helping athletes from injury to a healthy return. Beginning my career at such a competitive and resourceful institution as Georgian Court is an exciting opportunity."

Raised in Ocean County (N.J.), Emily graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science: applied kinesiology with a minor in psychology. Emily recently graduated from Seton Hall University with her master's degree in Athletic Training. While at Seton Hall, she received the academic performance award for her program and was inducted into the Alpha Eta honor society.

Miglin had the opportunity to gain experience in the collegiate sports setting at Rutgers University and Monmouth University. Her primary rotations were with football, volleyball, and basketball. She also worked with soccer, lacrosse, rowing, and swimming/diving.

"I am excited to announce Emily Miglin as the newest member of our athletic training and sports performance staff," stated Director of Sports Medicine and Performance Joe Friedrich. "Her experience and education from Rutgers and Seton Hall will be of great value to our student-athletes."

Emily will take on primary athletic training duties with women's soccer, women's basketball, and women's lacrosse.
