Previously vs. Alliance
• In a one-sided rivalry, Georgian Court is 45-4 all-time against Alliance (previously Nyack).
• The Lions swept Alliance last season 8-3 and 12-4 in five innings.
• Game one saw four GCU home runs, two from 
Alyssa Rue.
• Game two GCU relied on precision over power. 
Kaitlyn Stufft finished 3-4 with six RBI.
Previously vs. Bloomfield
• The Lions and Bears have met more than 50 times in their history with GCU holding a 41-11 record.
• Georgian Court has won nine straight meetings with the Bears. Their last loss came in 2017.
• Last season, Georgian Court had their way with Bloomfield. They won both games in five innings, 19-1 and 11-0.
• In two games, GCU totaled 45 hits.
• The Lions didn't need to rely on the long ball. They hit just one home run in each game with 
Kaitlyn Stufft doing the honor in both ends.
• Lion pitchers allowed a combined nine hits and one run. 
Mikayla Gilgert got the win in each game combining for eight shutout innings. 
Previously vs. Adelphi
• These two in-region rivals have a long history. Sunday will be their 30th meeting between one another.
• Adelphi holds a 16-13 all-time record against GCU.
• Last season in Lakewood, the two teams split a doubleheader. GCU dropped game one 4-2 before rebounding for a 6-5 win in game two.
• In game two, Adelphi held a 5-0 lead going to the bottom of the sixth. The Lions then erupted for six runs with 
Alyssa Rue's two-run home run proving to be the game winner as the game was called due to darkness after the sixth inning.
Last Time Out
• This past Sunday, Georgian Court picked up a pair of close wins in a doubleheader sweep of Molloy.
• The GCU Lions won 8-5 and then came back for a walk-off win in game two, 7-6.
• Georgian Court won game one despite seven fielding errors. 
Adriana Mungo reached base four times and drove in three runs.
• 
Jordan Mendolla and 
Jadalynn Rodriguez each had RBI extra-base hits in the second inning. 
• Game two saw the Lions down 6-4 entering the ninth. With two outs and tied at six, 
Brittany Gable played the hero with a single through the left side to score 
Jayda Jones.

Janelle Blaszka got a win in both ends of the Molloy doubleheader. She totaled seven innings allowing just two earned runs on seven hits with six strikeouts.
• 
Alyssa Herrera is working on a five-game hitting streak and has hits in eight of her last nine. 
• 
Kaitlyn Stufft has driven in 14 runs in her last 10 games.
• 
Jadalynn Rodriguez has a hit in 12 of her last 13 games. She's scored in eight of those 13 games as well.

• The Lions baserunning has played a big part in their success. They are second in the CACC in stolen bases per game with 2.31. They also rank 10th in the nation in with 14 sacrifice flies.
• Individually, 
Adriana Mungo leads the CACC with 29 RBI and five triples.

Taylor Lipkins 24 stolen bases are the most in the CACC. She's yet to be caught this season.

Maddie Rabe is sixth in the CACC.

About the Opponents
Alliance University
• Alliance sits near the bottom of the CACC. They are 3-21 overall and were picked to finish 12th in the CACC Preseason Poll.
• Alliance won it's last game, 10-6 at Holy Family for their first conference win of the year.
• AU puts plenty of runners on base. Their team WHIP (walks+hits/innings pitched) is 2.56 ranking 264th out of 272 in Division II.
• Their offense isn't much better averaging less than three runs per game.
• Addyson Girard has pitched the most innings on the team at 74.1. 
• Janelle Adams is hitting .356 on the year and is among the toughest to strikeout in the league. 
• Kaila Quick has a team-high 14 runs batted in. 
Bloomfield Bears
• Similar to Alliance, Bloomfield is also at the bottom of the CACC.
• The Bears are batting .225 as a team with just six girls with at least 40 at bats hitting .200 or better.
• On the rubber, Bloomfield is pitching to a 6.13 ERA.
• Danielle Walters has been their most consistent starter with a 4.85 ERA and a 3-4 record. She's struck out 26 in 56.1 innings.
• The Bears are yet to connect for a home run this season. 
• Starra Murphy has a team-best 11 RBI in just 52 at bats.
• Daniela Vidal is ninth in the country and leads the CACC as the toughest to strikeout. She's striking out just one in every 62 at bats. 
Adelphi Panthers
• Adelphi is one of the strongest teams in the region. They were picked to finish first in the NE10 Preseason Coaches Poll and started the year ranked ninth in the NFCA top-25 poll.
• The Panthers, at 17-4, currently rank 18th in Division II.
• The team is anchored by starters Lindsey Hibbs and Claire Fon. The pitching staff as a whole has a team 1.43 ERA.
• Hibbs is 10-2 this season with a 0.69 ERA and 152 strikeouts in 81.1 innings. Her 13.1 strikeouts per seven innings leads all of Division II. 
• Hibbs has already tossed three no-hitters and struck out 20 against UNC Pembroke. 
• While Adelphi's bread and butter has been their pitching, they are no slouches at the plate either. The Panthers are hitting .301 as a team and scoring 5.4 runs per game.
• Courtney Wengryn has been a force hitting .441 with 11 extra-base hits and 21 RBI.
• In the Northeast-10, Adelphi's .964 fielding percentage ranks second.Â
