NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 26, 2023) - This outdoor season Georgian Court Track and Field freshman Sean Donnamaria has added a new event to his repertoire. After competing mostly in the long sprints and mid-distance races during the indoor season, Donnamaria has added the pole vault to his list of events. 

This past week at the Shippensburg Mid-Week Meet, Donnamaria set a new PR in the vault as he jumped 12-1.5. He finished fifth in the competition. That mark is also a CACC qualifier and puts him fifth on the league's best-of list. He's also now fourth all-time at GCU. 

Donnamaria also competed in the open 400m at the meet running 51.76 and was on the Lions 4x400m relay team that ran a season-best 3:26.82. 

This week, Georgian Court is at a couple of different meets this weekend. Part of the team will be at the famous Penn Relays while others will compete at the TCNJ Outdoor Invitational.
