NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 26, 2023) - Julia Kirschnick set a pair of season-bests last week at the Shippensburg Mid-Week Meet. For her outstanding performance, she's been named the CACC Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Kirschnick competed in both vertical jumps. She finished third in the pole vault clearing 10-11.75. That season-best mark has her leading the CACC by more than a foot. In the high jump, Kirschnick finished in sixth place. She hit another CACC qualifying mark jumping 4-9.75 and is in the top-10 in the league.

This week, Georgian Court is at a couple of different meets this weekend. Part of the team will be at the famous Penn Relays while others will compete at the TCNJ Outdoor Invitational.
