PENNSYLVANIA (April 29, 2023) - Yesterday afternoon Georgian Court sent a handful of athletes to compete in the historic Penn Relays. There were seven Lions in action, all competing in different field events.

Jumps
• Aniyah Russell had a top-10 finish in the long jump. She just missed making the finals placing 10th jumping 18-7.25.
• GCU had two triple jumpers in action. Shanae Rayside finished 15th at 36-2.25 and Jeshurun Devero was 16th on the men's side at 44-8.25.
• Jan Volkmar was unable to clear a bar in the pole vault.

Throws
• In the javelin Joseph Sauchelli finished 13th with a throw of 169-9.
• Sheridan martinez also threw the javelin. She was 22nd at 108-6.
• Robbie Babson competed in the shot put and threw 49-8.5 for 26th place.
