Last Time Out
• Georgian Court started their season last week at the Stockton season opener. The men came in third place as a team.

Alec Valle and
Kyle Spector each had individual top-10 finishes with Valle taking fourth and Spector ninth in the 6K race.
• It was the first collegiate race for freshmen
Ryan Pettrow and
Max Salgado-Vidal.
• The women did not have a team score but were led by
Amirah Beasley. She took 27th in the 5K race.

Niya Barden,
Brenna Sullivan and
Selma Cazimoska also competed for the Lions.
CACC Runner of the Week
• For the first time in his cross country career,
Alec Valle was named the CACC Runner of the Week after his fourth place finish at the Stockton Opener.
• Valle ran the 6K course in 18:49.28 to lead all CACC and Division II runners.
Conference Preview
• The meet serves as a preview for the conference championship meet.
• Belmont Plateau is once again the host course for the CACC Championships later in October.
• There are also nine CACC teams competing in the meet this weekend.Â
• The meet is open mostly to small colleges and universities at the NCAA Division II and III levels as well as junior college. In addition to CACC teams, other teams set to compete in Brookdale CC, Bryn Athyn, Immaculata, Glouchester CC, Rowan and Stockton.
• The course itself is a mix of grass and trails with challenging hills.Â
• The Philadelphia Metropolitan Cross Country Championship is the longest running college championship for cross country in the Philadelphia area.Â
