NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Oct. 31, 2024) - With just over a week before the start of the 2024 Men's Basketball regular season, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) came out with their 2024-25 Preseason Coaches Poll.
The CACC has the basketball standings split up into two divisions, a north and a south. The Lions compete in the South Division where they were picked to finish sixth. Ahead of Georgian Court are Jefferson who secured six first-place votes, followed by Goldey-Beacom and Chestnut Hill who each earned three. Wilmington and Holy Family make up the rest of the South Division sitting fourth and fifth respectively.
The North was much more cut and dry. Post earned all 11 possible first-place votes. Dominican was awarded the only other one and sit second with Bloomfield third. Caldwell and Felician garnered the same number of points and tied for fourth with Bridgeport at the bottom.
The big news regarding Georgian Court Men's Basketball for the start of the 2024-25 season is the new faces on the bench.
Dave Fedor takes the reigns in his first season as head coach of the Lions after spending time as an assistant at Division I Robert Morris.
