NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Dec. 16, 2024) - This afternoon the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced their first All-Academic teams of 2024. The league highlighted men's and women's soccer teams and Georgian Court was at the forefront as 34 student-athletes earned the academic honor.
The Lions saw 19 from women's soccer and 15 from the men's team on their respective All-Academic Teams. In order for individuals to qualify for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed a minimum of two semesters at their current institution with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.50. They must also be a second-year student-athlete and have used a season of NCAA competition during the current season.Â
Georgian Court led all CACC teams with 34 total student-athletes. The 19 women's soccer student-athletes were the most of any team in the league and the 15 men's matched a league-high.Â

Seanna Boan was one of the eight CACC students with a 4.0 GPA among the 127 total who made the team.Â
For the men,
Joseph Ficarotta,
Ryan Lee and
Jason Spencer made their third All-Academic Team.

Oscar Jannesson,
Constantinos Kottas,
Mikey Mallon, and
Daniel Olatundun are two-time winners.
Colin Bayait,
Alessandro Cavallini,
Sotirios Gkosdis,
Tim Graczyk,
Anthony Ryan,
Anthony Sarkisov and
Tim Wilk earned the distinction for the first time. Cavallini and Derflinger were two of just nine student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA among the 83 total honorees.Â
