Lacrosse Sets Out to Defend CACC Regular Season Championship Starting at Post

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 15, 2024) - Georgian Court starts conference action this weekend as the Lions look to defend their 2023 CACC regular season championship.

Previously vs. Post
• Georgian Court got the better of Post twice last season, once during the regular season and once in the postseason.
• The CACC semifinal round saw the Lions at Post where they advanced with a tight 16-14 win.
• The game was tight throughout and tied at 13 after the third quarter.
• Post took a brief lead, but then GCU finished with three straight goals to pull out the win.

• A massive third quarter pushed Assumption past the Lions in Lakewood Wednesday afternoon.
• The Lions led by three at the half, 7-4 and pushed it to four, 8-4 early in the third.

• Georgian Court was able to get it to within one, 12-11, with less than two to play, were on the man-advantage and won the faceoff, but Mackenzie's shot found the pocket of the Greyhounds goalkeeper and they were able to run the clock out to escape with the win.
