Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• Georgian Court has historically done very well vs. the Lightning holding an all-time 30-6 lead over GBC.
• Since 2009, GCU is 27-2.
• One of those two losses though came last year as Goldey-Beacom picked up a walk-off win on a bases loaded walk, 6-5.That came in the 10th inning after GCU took the lead in the top of the inning.
• The Lions didn't take too kindly to the loss. They won game two 16-1 in five innings.
Jayda Jones drove in four runs with a home run and a double.
• All nine Lion starters got a hit in the game two win.
Last Time Out
• Georgian Court finished a 10-game week with a split of second place Bridgeport.
• After getting blanked in game one, 2-0 and striking out 14 times, the Lions came back twice on the Purple Knights to salvage a split.
• GCU used a four-run third inning to take a 4-3 lead. After falling behind 6-5, a two-run single in the sixth from
Cheyenne Jackson gave the Lions the lead back.

Kaitlyn Stufft is second in the CACC hitting .495. She also has a CACC best 14 home runs and 1.000 slugging percentage which is fourth in the country.

Adriana Mungo's is the CACC leader with 16 doubles. Her 0.47 doubles per game are seventh in Division II.

Playoff Picture
• The regular season wraps up in less than two weeks. At 8-6, Georgian Court is currently in sixth place.
• The top eight teams all make the postseason, but it's the top four that have a big advantage.
• Quarterfinal round matchups are on campus sites and require the lower-seeded team to sweep a doubleheader. Higher seeded teams need to just win one of two games to advance.
• Goldey-Beacom is the only team currently ahead of the Lions left on their schedule.
• Following the Lightning, GCU still has games with Holy Family, Jefferson and Chestnut Hill. Only one of those three is currently in a postseason position.
