Previously vs. Caldwell
• The Lions and Caldwell also have an extended history. The Cougars have a small edge in the all-time series 25-23.
• GCU got the better of the Cougars in all three games last season. They swept a doubleheader on the road during the regular season before picking up a 3-1 win in the CACC Tournament.
• In the postseason game in May, Caldwell got on the board with a run in the second, but GCU answered with single runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth for a 3-1 win.
• Janelle Blaszka threw 12.2 innings last season against the Cougars allowing just three earned runs. 

Previously vs. Dominican
• In 44 all-time matchups, these two teams are split 22-22.
• Speaking of splits, a year ago a doubleheader was split at home with the Lions winning 9-1 in five innings in game one before the Chargers took game two 8-7.
• Janelle Blaszka got the win allowing just one run on three hits.
• Georgian Court was looking poised to sweep, leading 7-3 after four, but Dominican scored five straight, including three in the seventh to pull out the 8-7 win.

Last Time Out
• The Lions have had a bad taste in their mouth for a while now after they last competed March 24.
• Georgian Court was swept on the road at Molloy, dropping game one 8-0 in six innings and the second 4-3.
• Molloy broke a 3-3 tie in the fifth with a double and threw scoreless sixth and seventh innings.
• Gabriella Aleman and Brittany Gable each had two hits in game two. 

CACC Leaders
• Kaitlyn Stufft is 16th in D2 and second in the CACC hitting .486. She also has a CACC best seven home runs, 36 hits and .878 slugging percentage. 
• Cheyenne Jackson is second in the CACC with 20 stolen bases. Her 0.91 walks per game is fifth in the country. 
• Adriana Mungo's 0.41 doubles per game are tops in the league. Her and Stufft are also second with 1.00 runs per game.
• Georgian Court is second in the CACC in team scoring at 5.32 runs per game along with slugging percentage and are third in on-base percentage. 
• Their 13 home runs are also the most in the CACC. 
• GCU's defense is second in Division II recording 0.64 double plays per game.

• Adriana Mungo is riding a six-game hitting streak with four multi-hit games among those six.

• Julia Lapp pitched a season-high six innings in her first start of the season vs. Molloy.

• Adriana Mungo needs two runs to make it into the Lions all-time top-five.
• Cheyenne Jackson is three stolen bases away from entering the Lions single-season top-10. 
• Kaitlyn Stufft is two home runs away from becoming just the third Lion to ever hit 40. She's also 12 hits short of 200.

Caldwell Cougars
• Caldwell enters the weekend at 14-10 and 2-2 in the CACC.

• The Cougar offense has not been a problem as the team is in the top-10 in the country hitting .361.
• Grace Vondracek is a main reason why as her .562 average is second in Division II.
• Ashleigh Tavaska supplies the power with six home runs and 36 RBI.
• Allison Winters leads the staff with a 1.71 ERA in 13 appearances and nine starts. She's pitched to contact striking out just 16 in 53.1 innings.
• Katie O'Connor leads CU having thrown 60.1 innings with a 4.06 ERA. She's 7-3 with a team-best 34 punchouts.
• The Cougars are leading the CACC in scoring at six runs per game. 
• Defensively they're also second in fielding percentage at .961.

About the Opponents
Dominican Chargers
• Dominican is in the midst of a six-game losing streak and are just 3-18 on the season.
• They've played six conference games and stand at 1-5 with their lone win coming against Jefferson.
• It's been a struggle both at the plate and in the circle. As a team, Dominican is hitting .249.
• Haylee Ridge is their leading hitter at .358 with three home runs and a team-best 15 RBI.
• Giovanna Salcido also has three long balls and 10 runs batted in. 
• The Chargers don't do much running. Their two stolen bases are the fewest in the country.
• Dominican relies heavily on a pair of Emilys. Emily Baxter has pitched 75 innings with a 5.88 ERA and Emily Null has a 6.05 ERA in 56.2 innings.
