Men’s Basketball Seeks to Finish Homestand Strong Against Post

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Jan. 17, 2025) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball seeks back-to-back wins to cap off its three-game home stretch on Saturday.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court moved to 2-3 in the CACC this season with a 75-66 win over Holy Family on Tuesday.
Cam Edmonds led the Lions to victory with a career-high-tying 33 points and broke his own program record with 17 made free throws on 20 attempts. He also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
• Georgian Court committed just six turnovers, tied for its lowest mark in nearly seven years, which they also matched in December versus New Haven. 
• The Lions hit a season-high 25 free throws, only two off of their program record and their most since 2020.
• The Lions held Holy Family to 19.2% (5 of 26) from 3, GCU's second-lowest mark allowed this season. 
Donavin Crawford added 13 points on 5 of 12 shooting.
Amari Jones finished 4 of 6 from the floor for nine points and four rebounds.
Miles White totaled six points while Justin Soranno and Anthony Gooden chipped in with five each.

Cam the Man 
Cam Edmonds led the Lions to victory versus Holy Family on Tuesday with a career-high-tying 33 points.
• With Tuesday's 30-point effort, Edmonds joins Caleb Bowser as the only Lions with three or more 30-point games in a single season.  
• The junior also broke his own program record with 17 made free throws on 20 attempts. 

Home is Where the Lions Play
• Saturday's contest marks the end of Georgian Court's three-game homestand. Including Saturday, they are home for four of their next six games.

• Conference play heats up for the Lions after finishing their non-conference schedule.

• After Tuesday's 33-point outburst, Cam Edmonds leads the CACC and is 21st nationally with 21.6 points per game. 
• The junior also leads the conference and is 15th nationally in free-throws made.
• Edwards is fifth in the conference with just over two steals per contest.  
Khalil Baker is 11th in the CACC in field-goal percentage at 52.3%. 
• Edmonds sits ninth and Donavin Crawford is 10th in the CACC in 3-pointers made per game. 
• Edmonds and Crawford are tied for 11th in the CACC playing 31.5 minutes per game.
