LAKEWOOD, NJ (Jan. 25, 2025) - Georgian Court had a busy weekend with a two-day meet in two different locations. Day one of the Widener Winter Invite saw running and jumping events take place in Philadelphia at the Ott Center on the campus of UPenn. Widener then hosted the throws portion of the meet on their campus Saturday afternoon.
Friday
Distance
•
Ryan Pettrow ran another personal-best race, this time in the 800 where he finished 11th in 1:58.87. He improves upon his sixth-best all-time mark at GCU.
• Also running in the 800m were
Zachary Spoonire and
Colin Broadbelt. Spoonire was 22nd in 2:02.50 while Broadbelt took 40th running 2:06.17.Â

Amirah Beasley ran the half mile for the women. She crossed the line in 2:27.71 for 15th place.
•
Brenna Sullivan ran the full mile in 6:25.05 which placed her 42nd.
Jumps
•
Julian Rodriguez competed in both vertical jumping events. He was eighth in the pole vault clearing 13-5.25 and 18th in the high jump getting over 5-10.
•
Sean Donnamaria hit another lifetime best in the vault jumping 12-11.5 which moves him to fifth all-time at GCU and was good for 11th in the competition.Â
• Also in the vertical jumps,
Juliana Dogostino cleared 4-9 in the high jump to take 10th place.
•
Tishanna Cohen jumped 35-9.5 in the triple jump for an eighth-place finish.
Jewel Pierrecharles finished 13th jumping 34-5. It was her first time competing in the jumps with the Lions.
Sprints/Relays
• Pierrecharles also ran the 60m dash. She bettered her time at GCU running 8.20 which put her in 15th place.

Molly Burns was 23nd in the 400m running 1:05.51.
•
Karmjeet Nagara and
Brandon Rudder finished two places away from each other at the 400m distance. Nagara was 31st running 53.05 and Rudder 33rd in 53.25.
• At the end of the meet in the Ott Center, the squad of Wayne Robinson,
Julian Rodriguez, Marcos Murillo-Benevides and
Sean Donnamaria ran 3:30.11 in the 4x400m relay to finish in ninth place.Â
Saturday
Throws
Men
•
Robbie Babson once again was the winner in the shot put. He threw 53-4.5 on his second attempt which held up for tops in the competition.Â
•
Malicah Etienne's first throw was his only legal mark, but it was still good enough for sixth place. He threw the shot 47-5.75.
• Anthony Lorenza had a big personal-best in the shot put throwing 41-7.75 for 18th place.
Guius Dabney was 28th with a throw of 39-5.
• Babson also had a top-10 finish in the weight throw. He was sixth with his mark of 49-6.25.
•
Mark Linton and Lorenzo finished back-to-back in 14th and 15th place. Linton threw 44-4.25 and Lorenzo 43-11.25.
• Dabney threw a personal-best 33-8 in the weight for 42nd place.Â
Women
• The women started off with the hammer throw.
Chiamaka Wokocha led that group with a 13th place finish and a mark of 43-7.75.
•
Kaydence Fischer's third and final throw was her only legal one of the competition. She threw 37-5 for 26th place.
•
Adrianna Fodera placed 35th throwing 32-5.5.Â
• Fischer came back to throw a PR in the shot put. She finished seventh with a mark of 36-11.75.
• Fodera also just cracked the top-10 in the shot in 10th place with her throw of 35-8.75.
Next weekend Georgian Court is going to the beach. Virginia Beach, VA where they'll compete in the Marlin Invitational hosted by Virginia Wesleyan.Â
