LAKEWOOD,NJ (Oct.14,2025) -Georgian Court Women's Soccer freshman Erynn Richey scored two goals in the Lions win against Lincoln(PA). In addition, she was a big part of why the Lions kept the College of Staten Island scoreless in Saturday's game. 

As just a freshman, Richey has already become a trusted starter in every match up for the Lions. In the ten games this season, she has played an average of 83 minutes. Her first goal against Lincoln(PA) was also her first collegiate goal. She scored an incredible goal straight from a corner. Richey also had the second goal of the game, but this time when she scored off a corner kick it was assisted by her teammate. Richey was a key defensive presence in Saturday's game, helping the Lions earn their second win of the week.

This is the first CACC Defensive Player of the Week award for Richey in her career. She's looking to maintain both her defensive and offensive contributions as the team heads to Wilmington today. They hit the road again on Sunday as they travel to Rutherford to face Felician.
