Last Time Out
• The Lions finished the first half of their regular season running at the Stockton Osprey Open two weeks ago.
• There were personal-bests set by both teams as the men finished in sixth place and the women in 11th.
• Every men's runner set a season-best for the 8K distance at the race with
Ryan Pettrow and Zach Spoonire leading the way, finishing less than one second apart.
• The same can be said for the women who all also set season-best times for the 6K.
Sophia Mauro led the group running 26:21.71.
Previously at Cairn
• Georgian Court ran at this race a year ago and had plenty of success.
• The men finished in second place while the women were fifth overall.
•
Ryan Pettrow and
Joe Jamolawicz had top-10 finishes for the guys.
• On the women's side,
Kerry Ann Hohenshilt and
Samantha Lonseth each ran this meet last year.
About the Meet
• The race takes place on Cairn University's campus.
• The women's race will see 17 teams compete with 16 on the men's side.
• There will also be high school races taking place following the collegiate races.
