Eichenbaum and Lavezzo Earn Second Team Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Nov. 12, 2025) - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced its All-Conference honors, and Georgian Court University women's soccer was represented by two players on the All-CACC Second Team.

Last season, Chelsea Lavezzo was named the CACC Rookie of the Year, and this year she earned a spot on the All-CACC TEAM. She was joined by graduate student Julia Eichenbaum, who also earned Second Team honors.

Eichenbaum and Lavezzo have been at the forefront of the Lions' offensive attack this season. The duo has each scored five goals for GCU, with Eichenbaum also contributing four assists to help power the team's offense. Both players have started every game they've appeared in this season. Heading into the playoffs, the pair had each scored in the Lions' last three matches.

After a slow start to the season, Lavezzo found her rhythm following her first goal at Wilmington about a month ago, a dramatic game-tying strike with just four seconds remaining in regulation. After Wilmington, she scored four goals in the last five games of the season. Every game she scored in, the Lions walked away with a win.

Eichenbaum, much like Lavezzo, netted her first goal of the season against Wilmington. In each of the Lions' next four victories, she added a goal, consistently setting the tone for GCU's offense. Impressively, every one of Eichenbaum's goals served as the first of the match for the Lions, establishing her as a player who thrives on opening up the scoring. Eichenbaum also tallied four assists this season, three of which set up goals for Lavezzo.
