Previously vs. Saint Thomas Aquinas
• Georgian Court has just one win in their history with St. Thomas Aquinas. That came back in 2015.
• Since then, the Lions have gone 0-4 against the Spartans who have become a regional power. All-time GCU is 1-5.
• This is the third year in a row the Lions and Spartans will meet. The Lions have lost both previous game by 17 points.
• In 2024-25 in Sparkill, the Spartans jumped out to a 40-28 halftime lead.
• Georgian Court kept things closer in the second and scored 46, but fell 91-74.

Cam Edmonds scored 30 points hitting 11-19 overall.
Previously vs. Saint Michael's
• This is the fourth ever match between the Lions and the Purple Knights. SMC leads 3-0.
• They played in Lakewood a year ago with Saint Michael's knocking off the Lions, 69-60.

Cam Edmonds made it a three-point game, 61-58 with two minutes left to play, but the Knights finished the game on an 8-2 run, going 5-6 at the line in final minute.
• SMC made it to the line 23 times, 20-23 while GCU was just 4-9.
Individual Milestones

Cam Edmonds is 23 points away from 1,000 in his career. He'd be the sixth Lion to reach 1,000 points scored.
• Edmonds is also 16 free throws away from becoming the GCU all-time leader in made free throws.

Donavin Crawford is six rebounds away from 100.

Charles Anyichie needs three rebounds for 100 and
Anthony Rivera needs two.

Anthony Gooden is 100 points shy of 100.

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.
Preseason Rankings
• With the new CACC standings, the preseason rankings have a bit of a different look to them as well.
• Georgian Court was picked to finish 10th overall.
• Dominican was the top team in the preseason poll.
• There were four teams that received at least one first-place vote.
• Behind Dominican are Jefferson, Post, Bridgeport and Caldwell.
2025-26 Outlook
• This is the second season under Head Coach
Dave Fedor. Georgian Court went 6-21 last season and 5-11 in the CACC, the most conference wins by a first-year head coach in program history.
• Returning this season is senior
Cam Edmonds. He averaged a league-best 23.8 points per game last season on his way to an All-Region award.
• This year's group returns 11 from that 2024-25 team. They also bring in 13 new faces, seven freshmen and six transfers. That all adds up to the largest roster in team history.
About Saint Thomas Aquinas
• Saint Thomas Aquinas has gotten used to deep playoff runs and 2024-25 was no different.
• The Spartans advanced to the East Region Final, where they fell in their bid to return to the Elite Eight.
• STAC finished the year 25-10 and 13-3 in the ECC.
• The Spartans were picked to finish second in the ECC in 2025-26, behind Daemen who opens the year ranked fourth in the NABC.
• A year ago, STAC led the ECC in scoring in rebounding.
• The Spartans have a completely revamped roster with only four returners from 2024-25. Of the 16 on their roster, 14 are freshmen or sophomores.
• Derrick James is the leading returning point-scorer. The senior averaged 9.9 points in 2024-25.
About Saint Michael's
• St. Michael's had a terrific year in 2023-24, advancing all the way to the East Region Championship game. Things fell apart a bit last year as they went just 9-21 and fell in the NE-10 Tournament quarterfinals.
• This year they bring back Rico Byrd who was on the NE10 All-Rookie Team. He averaged just a shade under 10 points per game with four rebounds and 3.5 assists.
• Nolan Marold and Greg Kenney scored more than 7.5 points per game and also return for the Purple Knights.
• SMC is bringing in nine new faces including five transfers.
• In the preseason coaches poll, SMC was picked to finish eighth in the Northeast-10.
• In a preseason exhibition, SMC went on the road and shocked Division I Vermont, 79-74.
• Division I transfer Zocko Littleton scored 18 for the Purple Knights.
