Men's Basketball Plays Exhibition at Temple

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Dec. 8, 2025) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball, winners of two straight, steps away from CACC play for a brief interlude. They'll be at Temple for an exhibition against the Division I Owls.

• This is the Lions first ever meeting with Temple. 

Individual Milestones
• Cam Edmonds is two assists away from 150. 
• Donavin Crawford needs five three-pointers to hit 100 for his career and he's 11 points short of 600. 
Jaycen Santucci needs one rebound for 50. 

Who's Hot?
Cam Edmonds scored 27 points in the win over Caldwell. He's scored 25+ points in five of eight games this season. 
• Amar Lane has at least two blocks in six straight games. He's also averaging more than seven points per game over his last four. 
• Anthony Rivera picked up his first double-double of the season with a season-high 15 points at Holy Family. He's had at least five rebounds in three straight.
• Taheen Braswell-Brown is 7-13 behind the arc over his last two games. 
Donald-James Imo has given the Lions strong minutes off the bench, scoring 10 points with seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks his last two games. 

Double Dipping
• Cam Edmonds has scored at least 10 points in 32 straight games.
• That broke Caleb Bowser's record from January, 2019-February, 2020 of 31 straight games. 

CACC Leaders
• Georgian Court is up at the top of the league in a couple of defensive categories.
• Their 5.8 blocks per game lead the league and are eighth nationally. 
• Georgian Court is also tops in field goal percentage defense as teams are shooting 40.6%. From behind the arc, teams are shooting 31.3% which is fourth in the CACC.
• Led by Cam Edmonds, GCU is third in free throws made per game. 
• Georgian Court is 1-2 in individual blocks and blocks per game. Amar Lane leads the league with 17 and 2.43. Tesneem Ajeigbe is second with 16 and 2.0 blocks per game. 
• Cam Edmonds is second in the CACC averaging 22.8 points per game. He's also leading the league and D2 with both 76 free throws and 96 free throw attempts.
• Jaycen Santucci's 49 rebounds are ninth in the conference. He's also fourth in the league shooting 51.2% overall. 
• Donavin Crawford sits sixth in the CACC with 16 made three-pointers.
• Anthony Rivera's 2.63 offensive rebounds per game are now eighth in the league. He's also 10th with 25 assists. 

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams. 
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.  

Conference Openers
• Georgian Court won their CACC opener last week against Holy Family and followed that with a win at home against Caldwell.
• Every time the Lions have won a conference opener, they've also won their second league game to start the CACC season 2-0.
• In both of those years prior to this year, 2019-20 and 2022-23, GCU also made the CACC Tournament. 

About Temple
• Temple enters tomorrow at 4-5 overall, however they've dropped three straight.
• At home, the Owls are 3-1 this season.
• One thing Temple doesn't do is beat themselves. They're committing less than nine turnovers per game which is in the D1 top-10 for fewest turnovers.
• There's three Owls averaging double-figures. Derrian Ford leads the team at 17.4 points per game. He's shooting 43% overall.
• Gavin Griffiths is just short of 10 points at 9.9 points per game, but is leading the team with 41 rebounds, 18 blocked shots and 12 steals. He's also hitting 37.7% from behind the arc.
• As a team, Temple is shooting 45.3 from the floor, however opponents are making 46.5%. Opponents are also connecting at 37.3% of all three-pointers.
• Temple is doing an excellent job of getting to the foul line. They average 26.2 free throws per game and have taken 75 more attempts than opponents.
• Despite just three of nine games decided by five points or less, Temple has scored the same number of points as their opponents. The Owls are averaging 75.6 points per game, and allowing that same number.
• Just like points, rebounding numbers are also incredibly close. Opponents have grabbed just three more rebounds, 304-301 and one more offensive rebounds, 89-88.
