• Their 12 game winning streak was snapped last season in game two of their doubleheader.
• GCU easily won the first in an 11-3 run-rule win. Gabriella Aleman drove in four runs in the win.

Previously vs. Dominican
• The all-time series with Dominican is deadlocked at 23-23.
• It's been an interesting go of it lately though for these teams. Georgian Court is 5-3 in their last eight and the teams have split each of the last two doubleheaders.
• All three of the Charger wins during that stretch have come by just one run. In the five Lion wins, they're outscoring Dominican 40-2 with three shutouts.
• Playing in Orangeburg last season, Dominican won the first game 4-3 before the Lions came back to win 13-1 in game two.
• The 13-1 win saw home runs from Kaitlyn Stufft and Jadalynn Rodriguez
• Julia Lapp tossed a three hitter, allowing just one run.

Last Time Out
• Once again, thanks to weather, Georgian Court didn't play last weekend.
• They played last Thursday against Molloy in their final nonconference games of the season.
• GCU handled the first game, 10-2 in six innings, but dropped the seconds, 7-4.
Ella Moore and Kaylin Curro each had three hits in the game one win.

About the Opponents
Jefferson Rams

• Jefferson got off to a terrible, 1-14 started, but have picked things up lately.
• They're just 7-23 overall, but 6-8 in the CACC, despite four straight league losses.

• Jefferson has had to rely on their pitching which has a 4.14 team ERA. Delaney Alix is a legit ace with a 1.90 ERA and 91 strikeouts in 84.2 innings pitched.
• They need their pitching to be on because scoring has been a challenge for Jefferson. They're hitting just .203 as a team and scored just 87 runs this season.
• Remy Smith leads the team with a .253 average and 11 RBI

Dominican Chargers
• Dominican is sitting at 14-23 overall this season and are 9-7 in the CACC.
• They've been hot of late, winning six of their last eight.
• On the road, Dominican is just 5-11 though.
• The team is hitting just .246 overall an are averaging fewer than four runs per game.
• Toni-Jo Lopez leads an offense that doesn't hit for much power. She's hitting .326 with 30 hits.
