Previously vs. Caldwell
• This rivalry has been owned lately by Georgian Court.
• GCU has won nine of the last 10 meetings dating back to 2019, and five in row.
• They've made up a lot of ground in the all-time series which is now tied at 25.
• Last year at home, GCU swept the Cougars 4-2 and 6-2, getting excellent pitching from Janelle Blaszka and Julia Lapp.
Jadalynn Rodriguez had five hits in the doubleheader.

Last Time Out
• Just yesterday it was senior day for Georgian Court.
• They honored seniors Mikayla LaPlaca and Kristy Regalado prior to the game.
• The Lions then fell immediately behind in game one, 3-0, before scoring the final eight runs in an 8-3 win.
• GCU finished Bloomfield off with a 5-2 win in game two.

Individual Milestones
Charlee Mae Sinderud is four hits away from 50 in her career.
Reagan Winn needs two hits for 30 this season.
Janelle Blaszka is 4.2 innings away from throwing 400.
Kaylin Curro has been a triples machine and needs four to break the single-season record for three-baggers.
• Isabella Molina is one game away from 50.

CACC Leaders
• Kaylin Curro is sitting ninth in the league in average and in on-base percentage.
• She leads the league and is second in the country with nine triples.
• Cheyenne Jackson is 10th in the league in slugging percentage and ninth in OPS.
Ella Moore is up to a tie for eighth in doubles and her 25 RBI are in the top-15.
• Janelle Blaszka is fifth in strikeouts looking and eighth in wins.
• Georgian Court's 124 strikeouts are the second fewest in the league.
• Defensively, GCU is fourth in fielding percentage.

Who's Hot?
Kaylin Curro has eight multi-hit games over her last 12. She's hitting .458 over that span.
• Janelle Blaszka has a 1.32 ERA over her last 37 innings and seven appearances.
• Brooklyn Ragland has a six-game hitting streak and is 11-21 over that stretch.
Gabriella Aleman is 6-8 so far this week with a .800 on base percentage.

Postseason Picture
• Georgian Court has clinched a spot in the CACC Tournament which starts up on Saturday.
• They know they'll be on the road, but don't know where yet as they can slot in anywhere from 5-7 depending on results from tomorrow's doubleheader.
• A doubleheader sweep at Caldwell mean's they'll be the number five seed and play at Jefferson.
• A split slots GCU sixth and they'll be at Goldey-Beacom.
• A Caldwell sweep pushes the Lions all the way down to seven where they'll have to travel to Wlimington.
• No matter the result and opponent on Saturday, the Lions will have to win two games to advance to the double-elimination bracket. A single loss Saturday would eliminated them from the tournament.

About the Opponents
Caldwell Cougars

• The results tomorrow have an even bigger effect on Caldwell's postseason schedule. They're currently 12-8 in the league, and a sweep of the Lions means Caldwell will be the No. 4 seed and play at home for the CACC Tournament first round.
• A split puts Caldwell fifth while a GCU sweep drops the Cougars all the way to No. 7.
• The Cougars are led by the two-headed offensive attack of Ashleigh Tavaska and Grace Vondracek.
• Tavaska leads the CACC in hit and slugging percentage. She's also the only player in the CACC with more than 50 RBI. She has 57.
• Vondracek is .001 points behind the league leader in on-base percentage at .551. Her 37 stolen bases also lead the league.
• Katie O'Connor has seen the most work in the circle. She's 11-7 with a 3.42 ERA. Jayden Hill's 17 starts lead the team, but she's just 5-11 on the year.
• The Cougars don't strike out many, just 121 in 284.1 innings pitched.
