NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 30, 2026) - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) wrapped up their week of All-Academic Team announcements with men's and women's cross country. Between the two teams, Georgian Court had six earn the Academic honor.
In order for student-athletes to be eligible, they must have completed a minimum of two semesters at their current institution with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.50 following the preceding term. They must also be a second-year student-athlete and have competed in at least 67% of a team's meets or competed in the CACC Championship meet.
No team in the league put more on the Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team than Georgian Court. The Lions had four recognized which was a league-best. Senior
Joe Jamolawicz made the team for the third straight year. He has a 3.77 GPA as a Business Administration major. Another repeat name on the All-Academic Team is
Ryan Pettrow. He has a 3.75 GPA in Exercise Science.
Colin Broadbelt and
Matthew Schaub each make the team for the first time. Both are studying Social Work and Broadbelt has a 3.76 GPA and Schaub is at 3.66.
For the women,
Brenna Sullivan matches Jamolawicz with her third All-Academic Team honor. She is a dual major in Education and Interdisciplinary Studies. Sullivan has a 4.0 GPA and was also the league's Top XVII winner ahead of the Cross Country Championship meet.
In addition to Sullivan,
Kerry Ann Hohenshilt earned her first honor. She has a 3.76 GPA in Nursing.
