LAKEWOOD, NJ (Oct. 22, 2026) - Georgian Court Athletics proudly unveiled the brand new portable bleachers before Wednesday afternoon's Women's Soccer game.

The 219-seat bleachers, currently housed at the turf field, are state-of-the-art, portable and come with seatbacks and a canopy to keep our fans comfortable. The canopy can be retracted and the bleachers folded up for easy transport and storage. This new upgrade directly supports our outdoor programs, giving our fans comfort, shelter and pride.

Georgian Court Interim President Dr. Eugene Cornacchia, Director of Athletics Dan Sempkowski, along with members of Georgian Court's Student-Athlete Advisory Council, participated in special pregame ribbon-cutting ceremony to offically mark the opening of the new bleachers.

The bleachers were paid for by Georgian Court Athletics with the help of years-long fundraising efforts and could not have been possible without the generous contributions of all of our donors. The "Pride in the Stands" Bleacher Initiative was one of the largest fundraising campaigns attempted and achieved by Georgian Court Athletics.

Now is also the time to leave a lasting legacy. If you'd like name recognition on an individual seat and/or listing on the campaign plaque, visit the link above for more information.
