WESTLAKE, Ohio (August 27, 2026) - The Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) released the final awards of the 2025-26 calendar before things flip over to the new year. They announced the recipients of the Academic Achievement Award which saw 116 Georgian Court student-athletes recognized.
The Academic Achievement Awards, in its 19th year, is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level. Historically, more than 200,000 student-athletes have been recognized over that time across the nation. This year was no different with more than 21,000 student-athletes from 179 institutions honored. To qualify, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale; must have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work; and must have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.
The complete list of GCU student athletes is down below. Please note that while many Acrobatic and Tumbling student-athletes met the criteria for the award, the award is limited to those sports in which the NCAA holds a national championship.
