LAKEWOOD, NJ (June 2, 2026) - Georgian Court University finished the 2025-26 academic year performing well on the field, in the classroom and in the community. The 2025-26 Helper-Helper report came out and Georgian Court was well represented among the overall and team leaders.
As an NCAA Division II institution, Georgian Court was fifth in community engagement impact which measures total volunteer hours and economic impact. In terms of volunteer service, Georgian Court was eighth in all of Division II.
Individual programs were also recognized for their volunteer efforts. Georgian Court had two programs at the top of the list in their respective sport in Women's Basketball and Men's Lacrosse. In fact, GCU Women's Basketball was the No. 2 overall women's program in Division II.
Both Georgian Court Soccer teams made the top-10 with the GCU women second in volunteer service and the Lion men fourth.
Rounding out Lion programs in the top-10 was Georgian Court Baseball who finished sixth.
This year, Helper-Helper concluded NCAA student-athletes volunteered for 637,205 hours at 20,100 opportunities with 57,858 participants with an economic impact of 23 million dollars.
