• Georgian Court has not had a good history with Goldey-Beacom.
• The Lions got their first ever win over the Lightning in the 2022-23 season, but are just 1-22 all-time.
• That win came on the road, a 70-62 triumph.
• The Lightning got the better of the Lions in two close games last year.

Cam Edmonds set a new Georgian Court record scoring 48 points, going 22-28 at the line. But the Lions fell 90-84.
• Playing at home later in the year, the Lions led by four at the half and were up by as much as 13, but lost by five, 76-71. Four Lions were in double-figures and GCU was 9-20 from behind the arc.

CACC Leaders
• Georgian Court is up near the top of the league in a couple of defensive categories.
• Their 4.8 blocks per game are second in the CACC and 13th in Division II.
• Georgian Court is also fifth in the CACC in field goal percentage defense as teams are shooting 44% from the floor.

Cam Edmonds, GCU's 19.4 free throws made per game are leading the CACC and are ninth in the country. They also are fourth in the CACC hitting 71.4% at the line.
• On the glass, the Lions have moved to sixth in the CACC with 36.14 rebounds per game.

Amar Lane leads the league with 46 blocks and 2.19 per game. He's 16th nationally in both categories.

Tesneem Ajeigbe is also in the top-10 in the CACC in total blocks and blocks per game.

Cam Edmonds leads the CACC scoring 21.2 points per game which ranks 18th nationally. He's also got the most free throws made and attempted in Division II.

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.
• Georgian Court is finished with their nonconference slate. From here on out, they'll be playing only CACC games.
• The Lions have completed their first half of the CACC schedule, going 3-7. Everyone plays each opponent once before seeing a team for a second time.
About Goldey-Beacom
• Goldey-Beacom recently had their eight-game winning streak snapped at the hands of CACC leaders Felician, 80-78.
• That streak started with a win over the Lions in January. They stand at 16-7 overall and 10-5 in the CACC and in second place in the standings.
• The Lightning are one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country, pulling down 16.6 per game which ranks second in the country.
• They also force 16.5 turnovers per game, which is second-best in the CACC and their turnover margin is also second in the league.
• The thievery starts with Emarquis Jones who has 50 this season, third in the CACC and 25th in Division II.
• GBC likes to load up from deep. They average more than nine three-pointers per game and are shooting 33% from distance.
• Goldey-Beacom has three scoring in double-figures this year led by Tre Powell with 17.8. He's a sharp-shooter knocking down 39% from three and 85% at the foul line.
• Brian Blanchet is another to watch from distance. He's 40-115 on the year.
• Jones is also scoring 13.8 and has a team-leading 7.0 rebounds per game. He's shooting 51.1% overall.
