• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.
• Georgian Court is finished with their nonconference slate. From here on out, they'll be playing only CACC games.
• The Lions have completed their first half of the CACC schedule, going 3-7. Everyone plays each opponent once before seeing a team for a second time.
Playoff Picture
• With only three games left to play, it is officially scoreboard watching season.
• The new-look CACC sees the top eight teams make the postseason as the league has done away with divisions.
• Georgian Court is currently in a three-way tie for eighth in a very tight CACC playoff race.
• Thus far, only four teams have locked up a tournament berth - Felician, Goldey-Beacom, Caldwell, Jefferson.
• The 5th-10th spots are separated by just three games.
• GCU is tied for eighth with Bridgeport and Chestnut Hill and a game behind Holy Family for seventh.
• Even though they have one fewer game, Wilmington is also lurking just a game behind the Lions with a matchup in Wilmington next week.
About Dominican
• Dominican is all alone in sixth place in the CACC standings at 8-9.
• When they came to Lakewood back in January, they were mired in a five-game losing streak.
• They're turned this around and won three of their last four, with their only loss, an OT loss to CACC leaders Felician on the road.
• Despite their midseason struggles, Dominican is still among the leaders in the league averaging 82.4 points per game.
• However, they are at the bottom of the league in scoring defense as opponents are averaging 83.7 points.
• The Chargers are not a terrific rebounding team as their 34.6 rebounds per game are ninth in the CACC.
• One area the Chargers are successful in is turnovers. They're 13.2 per game is the fourth fewest and they're a +2.2 in turnover margin.
• The only team in the CACC to make more free throws per game than GCU is Dominican. They average 19 per game which is 10th in Division II and are getting to the line almost 27 times per game.
• Four Chargers are averaging double-figure points per game, led by Elijah Peters at 14.2. He's shooting 56.7% overall, doing most of his work on the inside.
• Key'Sean Maynard and Javel Cherry have each made more than 30 three-pointers this season and are the Chargers to watch behind the arc.
