LAKEWOOD, NJ (Feb.9th, 2026) - Georgian Court presents this week's Kessler Athlete of the Week awards to Men's Basketball Cam Edmonds and Women's Track Sigurlaug Sveinsdottir.

Kessler is the official physical therapy partner of Georgian Court Athletics. Their team of movement experts will be on campus to provide athletic training services to the student-athletes. ⁣With over 10 physical therapy centers in the surrounding community, students, faculty, and staff can experience the power of physical therapy close to campus.

Edmonds made history this week, becoming GCU's all-time leading scorer after putting up 19 points at Jefferson. He capped off the week in style on Saturday, exploding for 31 points in a win over Bridgeport.
 
Sveinsdottir had a big weekend at the Fast Track National Invitational. She ran an 8.21 in the 60 meters, finishing 12th overall. In the 200 meters, she clocked a personal-best 26.67 to place 31st, a mark that moves her to 9th all-time at GCU. She also recorded a personal best in the long jump with a mark of 17-2, earning 6th place and ranking 9th overall in program history.
