• In the regular season last year, Wilmington defeated the Lions 16-10 as they went on their way to finish first in the standings.
• The Lions got the better of them though in the CACC Tournament though.
• Wilmington had everything working for them up 6-2 with less than 30 seconds to play in the first half. Tyler Burns scored to finish the half, but GCU was still down three.

• Wilmington tied the game with two fourth quarter goals before Joe Zerr scored the game-winner in a 9-8 win.

Last Time Out
• A back-and-forth affair went by the way of Post in the CACC season opener.
• Post led 6-4 at halftime before the teams started trading goals.

About the Opponent
Wilmington Wildcats

• Wilmington is 3-3 this season with all three losses coming to teams ranked in the top-17.
• All three wins were also against unranked opponents.
• They nearly pulled the upset against No. 17 ranked Mercy, falling 9-8 as the Mavericks broke an 8-8 tie with 1:48 to play.
• Wilmington has the top-ranked scoring offense and defense in the CACC scoring 12.8 points per game while allowing 7.8. Part of the reason for that is a 30-1 drubbing of Caldwell last week.
• The Wildcats defensively are leading the CACC in caused turnovers, ground balls, and opponent clear percentage.
• They're also winning 65% of all faceoffs.
• Andrew Dzubak leads the offense with 18 goals and 24 points. In total, six Wildcats have at least 10 points in six games.
• Five different goalie have seen action, but Daniel Flynn has started all six and has an 8.76 goals against average and 53.1% save percentage.
• One area of concern for Wilmington, they lead the league in penalties taken and average nearly six penalty minutes per game.
