Men's Lacrosse Travels to Another Top-20 Ranked Team Wednesday Afternoon

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 17, 2026) - For the third time this season, Georgian Court Men's Lacrosse will be on the road against a ranked opponent.

Previously vs. Molloy
• These teams have met every year since Georgian Court has had a lacrosse program. 
• All-time Georgian Court is 3-7 against Molloy.
• Molloy won the first four games before GCU won the next three. Since 2023, Molloy has won three straight.
• Last year in Lakewood, Molloy rode a 5-0 first half to a 12-4 win.
• No Lion scored more than one goal and only Matt Dorrian had two assists.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court got their first win of the season in a 13-10 victory over Bridgeport.
Harrison Jordan scored four times to lead GCU while Drew Barocas picked up a goal and three assists.
Vincent Burkhart made 15 saves in net. 
• After going down 1-0, the Lions scored three straight and never trailed again.

Christian Smith needs one ground ball to reach 50 and Thomas Fleming one more for 30. 
• Harrison Jordan is three goals away from 50.

Whos Hot?
• Vincent Burkhart has at least 13 saves in all six games played this season. 
Harrison Jordan scored a career-high four goals against Bridgeport.
Drew Barocas matched a season-best with four points Saturday.
Malik Alzubi has three ground balls in three straight games. He also had six caused turnovers last week.

• The Lions are leading the CACC with 98 saves and their 16.33 saves per game rank fourth in Division II.
• On the ground, GCU is third in total ground balls. 
• Also on the defensive side, the Lions rank fourth in caused turnovers per game.
• Harrison Jordan is up to eighth in total goals. 
• Vincent Burkhart is leading the conference with 95 saves in net and his 15.8 saves per game are the second most in the country. 
• Drew Barocas is tied for second in the league with 11 assists. 
• Daniel Devitt is seventh in faceoff winning percentage.
• Christian Smith is 11th in caused turnovers and caused turnovers per game. 

About the Opponent
Molloy Lions

• Molloy is off to a 4-2 start to the season.
• Among their six games, they share three common opponents with Georgian Court. Molloy defeated Wilmington and decisively took care of Bridgeport. They went to overtime back in February where they won 13-12 over then-eighth ranked Pace. 
• Molloy is one of the best in the country causing turnovers. Opponents average almost 25 per game while Molloy is credited with 12.2 caused turnovers each contest.
• John Basile has started all six games in goal and was last week's ECC Goalie of the Week. On the year he's got 76 saves with a .580 save percentage allowing less than 10 goals per game.
• Four Lions have double-figure goals led by Zach Kroog and his 14. 
• Noah Hammon, the Chestnut Hill transfer, has scored 11 goals and has 14 ground balls.
• The Lions are a tick below 50% on faceoffs, winning 49.3%. However their primary draw man, Brandon Pazienza, has ton 54.5%.
