• The Lions finished the meet with a total of five event winners, 10 All-ECC First Team performances (top-two finishes), nine All-ECC Second Team performances (3rd and 4th place), and 18 personal-best marks.
• Those event winners included
Mark Linton,

New Look Top-10
• The Georgian Court all-time top-10 had some major revisions on the indoor list.
• The men put up 18 new all-time best marks and the women had 17.
• A lot of those marks were done by freshman.
Daizhae' Brown and
Sigurlaug Sveinsdottir each put their name in four events.
Sophia Mauro and
Sydney Hurley are freshmen who made the top-10.
• For the men,
Barone Vankline is not only top-10, but top-5 in two events.
Stephen Lane,
Shona Mutokuto,
Brian Kutney and
Chuck Smith are all in one.Â
What to Watch
• This is the first time this season the Lions will be on the outdoor track.
• Last season ended with the Lion men just two points behind the CACC Champions in second place and the women repeated in fifth place.Â
• The outdoor season brings with it new events, especially in the throwing events as the discus, hammer throw and javelin are all competed outdoors.
• On the track, the shortest sprint jumps from a 60m to 100m. That goes for hurdles as well with the 100m hurdles for women and 110m hurdles for men. There is also a second hurdle race added, the 400m intermediate hurdles.Â
• Mid-distance runners drop from the mile indoors to 1500m outdoors. There is also the addition of the 3,000m steeplechase and the 10,000m races.Â
• The biggest difference of course is the size of the track. Indoors is competed typically on a 200m track, and where the Lions mostly compete it's a 200m banked track. Outdoors doubles in size to a 400m flat track.Â
The Outdoor Schedule
• The first two weeks, GCU will compete in their home state of New Jersey at Stockton and Monmouth.
• They'll then head to Pennsylvania for two weeks at Millersville and the annual Shippensburg Mid-Week Bonanza.
• The final week of the regular season sees the historic Penn Relays as well as the TCNJ Lions Invitaitonal.
• The 2026 CACC Championship meet is once again hosted by Georgian Court. That's held Friday-Saturday, May 1-2.Â
