NEW ORLEANS (March 11, 2026) - Before Georgian Court Track and Field begins their outdoor campaign, there's some unfinished business left to take care of indoors. That's the annual United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Team.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. Georgian Court competes in the East Region along with the other members of the ECC and Northeast-10. The CACC, which GCU competes in outdoors, does not sponsor indoor track and field.
The Lions had five individuals make the All-Region team.
Daizhae' Brown is the most decorated earning three;Â one each for the 60m dash, long jump and triple jump. She won the ECC Championships indoor in the long jump, finished second in the triple jump and was third in the 60m. Among the East Region, Brown is second in the long and triple jump. Her mark of 5.70m (18-8.50) is second all-time in Lions history and her triple jump of 11.40m (37-5) is third all-time. She set a new school record in the 60m dash running 7.73 which ranked third in the region.
Brown wasn't the only Lions triple jumper to earn All-Region.
Tishanna Cohen is fifth in the region with her jump of 11.35m (37-3) which moved her to sixth in Lions history.Â
Three Lion men throwers took home All-Region awards. Two of them came in the shot put.
Cameren Anderson threw a season-best 15.92m (52-2.75) this season which is second in the region and sixth in GCU history. While this throw wasn't at the conference meet, Anderson still won the ECC Championship in the event, giving GCU six straight individual championships in the shot put.Â
Joining Anderson as an All-Region shot putter is
Malicah Etienne. Etienne had a season-best throw of 15.45m (50-8.25) which is fourth in the region. This is Etienne's second All-Region award in the shot put.
Also earning a second All-Region award indoors is
Mark Linton. Linton led the region in the weight throw with his mark of 18.43m (60-5.75). That's also a new school record in the event, breaking his own record set in 2025. Similar to Anderson, while his season-best didn't come at the ECC Championship meet, Linton did repeat as the ECC Champion in the weight throw.Â
The outdoor season is now just a week away. GCU begins the year competing at the Stockton Invitational next weekend, March 20-21 in Galloway, NJ.Â
