BOSTON, MA- The Georgian Court University cross-country team placed 15th (out of 28 squads) in the 2010 East Region Championship (6K), Sunday afternoon in Boston's Franklin Park.
Led by
Justin Berger (30th place, 23:54), the Lions and their six harriers collected 403 points. Meet champions, Stonehill College, tallied 42 points while Philadelphia University, the 2010 CACC title winners, led all conference participants with a 6th place finish and 194 points.
Berger, a member of the CACC All-Conference squad, was followed across the finish line by sophomore
Cynthia Cuiule (71st, 25:19), freshman
Katelynn Colgain (91st, 25:50), sophomore
Allison Landry (100th, 26:04), senior
Krystal Belcher (115th, 26:31) and
Christie Gallant (157th, 28:01).
The Lions finished the 2009 meet in 10th place.
